Regional Economic Strategy. The JPC will consider a recommendation from its Executive Committee that an action plan be drafted for a regional economic development strategy. The recommendation resulted from a discussion at the JPC Executive Committee’s May 9, 2012 meeting on the principles Senator Mark DeSaulnier indicated were underlying legislation he incorporated into SB 1149 and later into SB 878. |

Although a quorum of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission may be in attendance at this meeting, the Joint Policy Committee may take action only on those matters delegated to it. The Joint Policy Committee may not take any action as the Metropolitan Transportation Commission unless this meeting has been previously noticed as a Metropolitan Transportation Commission meeting.
