ABAG and NCPA will review a proposed refinement of the electric energy purchasing program that will substitute the annual RFP process with shorter term RFP processes during the year responding to the electric market place.
Staff will review the projected program costs and revenues for the electric pool program's first year covering the period of April 1 through December 31, 1998 and the second year covering January 1 through December 31, 1999. Committee direction will be requested on the most appropriate option to fund the 1998 ISO and PX escrow deposits and proposed changes in the levelized payment to fund 1999 program costs.
Marcello Todaro of I.Q. Solutions will give a status report on the first quarter of the gas pool program.
Joseph Chan ABAG Finance Director will review ABAG POWER financial reports as of September 30, 1998.
Staff will present a report on the status of meters being installed by CellNet and the first meeting of the new billing subcommittee.
