ABAG staff will review the new electric energy purchasing program implemented in February.
The Electric Aggregation Agreement between ABAG and each member agency provides for a 1.5% per month late payment change calculated daily on the outstanding balance commencing on the 31st day after the invoice mailing. Due to the amount of late payments, it is recommended that this late payment fee provision be initiated in April, 1999.
A status report on the first five months experience of the gas pool program will be given by staff.
Joseph Chan ABAG Finance Director will review ABAG POWER financial reports as of October 30, 1998.
Currently street light energy usage is billed by ABAG and associated electric distribution charges are billed by PG&E. Staff will review a proposed solution of this problem to consolidate all billing through ABAG.
Staff will present a report on the status of meters being installed by CellNet, the new bill format, and related program items.
