WELCOME TO WIRELESS

Last year, there were more than 9.6 million new wireless subscribers in the United States, for a total of 34 million - that's 13% of our population.

Wireless technology - including cellular, paging, Enhanced Specialized Mobil Radio (ESMR) and the forthcoming Personal Communications System (PCS) - is revolutionizing the way people communicate.

Wireless opens a new world of possibilities. It's a tool that's making communication for families, businesses, government, and emergency personnel more accessible, more dependable, and less expensive than ever before.

The possibilities capture the imagination and boggle the mind.

Yet, there are many questions.

What is the future of wireless communication? How does the technology work? Where will antenna sites be needed, and how many? How can wireless carriers and local government work together?

Join with other community leaders, decision makers, and industry experts to discuss the future of wireless communications, to share with each other our concerns and goals, and to understand what it means for your community. Wireless is no longer just a vision for the future, it's the communication of today.
