Sixteen Bay Area local government projects received high marks for innovation recently when a panel of experts announced the results of the Bay Area Innovations review process.
ABAG planners Jeanne Perkins and Ben Chuaqui announce the release of S haken Awake!, a report on the impact of earthquakes on housing and shelters.
ABAG's new C D-ROM contains over 1000 city maps, a video from OES on how to retrofit your wood-frame home, the entire text of "The San Francisco Bay Area -- On Shaky Ground", and numerous photos and animated graphics.
The Union Sanitary District, which serves Fremont, Newark, and Union City, now has a site on the World Wide Web. You'll find links to Bay Area Special Districts on abagOnline's Regional Agencies & Special Districts page.
The Town of Danville and The City of Dixon now have sites on the World Wide Web. You'll find links to these city sites and many others on abagOnline's Bay Area Cities page.
John Huang, Project Director, Information Technology Initiatives, Vice President Gore's National Performance Review, will be replacing Dr. Bernadette McGuire-Rivera as keynote speaker for the Electronic Government Conference, April 19.
