ProjectsSan Francisco Bay Trail Grant ProgramThe San Francisco Bay Trail Project administers a grant program in partnership with the Coastal Conservancy to further the completion of the remaining gaps in the Bay Trail. The program has resulted in significant progress. So far, a total of 128 planning and construction grants have been awarded resulting in 57 miles of trail construction, new shoreline destination areas, interpretive signs, trail amenities, public outreach, regional analaysis and project-specific planning studies for over 130 miles.The Bay Trail Grant Program Summary describes all planning, design, engineering and construction projects funded through this program since it began in 1996.
