Disclaimer These virtual tours are out of date! Most of them were done by dedicated volunteers around the turn of the century. Since then, some features recorded in the tours have disappeared, victims of the remorseless hand of time, while new sections of trail and amenities have been added, which the tours, frozen in their un-updated past, know nothing about.

If you use these virtual tours with a spirit of discovery and openness to minor adventures, they will be good guides to a pleasant morning or afternoon. If, on the other hand, you expect things to be exactly just so, and plan your day around the existance of a long gone playground or feature, you may well be disappointed.

If you feel a particular virtual tour is really outrageously out-of-date, please consider walking the tour with your digital camera and take a fresh set of snapshots. Send us your snaps along with a bit of descriptive text to replace the out-of-date stuff, and we will update the tour, and even give you an 'updated by' byline.

The following list represents a set of nine maps available from ABAG which covers the entire San Francisco Bay Area and shows the various trails that currently exist or are planned to eventually completely encircle the bay. Each map is specific to a region of the Bay and individual maps or map sets can be purchased from here.
