Notes:
- Watch for modified wood wall locations
- When foundation walls of a house are located slightly out of position, builders will sometimes adjust the wood wall location.
- Done by partially overhanging the sill plate at the edge of he foundation wall as shown in the figure.
- If such a condition is encountered during retrofit, an architect or engineer should be consulted.
