Notes:
- Use prescribed wood and shear wall dimensions
- Wood source (example: Douglas Fir).
- Wood dimensions (examples: half inch or five ply plywood)
- Do not deviate from specifications in the plans without the approval of the engineer
- Do not change the shear wall length or locations
- Do not change nail sizes or spacing
- Unapproved deviations constitute a violation of the standard of care and would subject the contractor to liability exposure
- If the shear wall cannot be installed as specified, call an engineer to design a resolution
- Document all changes and communications
