Install strong mechanical latches, or "positive" latches, on cabinet doors. Examples of these types of latches include touch door, clip-roller, and snap-action cabinet catches, as well as slide bolts, safety hasps, and "child-proof" baby latches. It is particularly important that chemicals such as bleach and ammonia are stored in latching cupboards!
