Program Overview - GHG Emissions Inventories - Benchmarking Training

ABAG Benchmarking Training Workshops

The workshops will cover both Portfolio Manager, which assesses normalized energy performance; and, PG&E's Automated Benchmarking Service (ABS), which provides historical energy usage data as well as automatic monthly updates to the building's Portfolio Manager account. Mark Jewell, an energy-efficiency and benchmarking expert, will conduct the workshops.

Specific to local government facilities, each workshop is designed to teach how to:

• Benchmark buildings
• Automate the entry of monthly utility data to help keep your benchmark current
• Use the benchmarking score and other data provided by this process to take the next steps in energy conservation activities. (Participants are encouraged to benchmark at least one of their actual buildings during the workshop).
