1.                  Update on Changes in Manifests & Discussion – Goal –

a.       Provide a recommendation to the Haz Waste Committee as to when/how to proceed with the next hazardous waste data analysis, including the Fair Share Formula.

Background: Federal EPA, as of 9/06 requires a uniform manifest for all generators that supplanted the CA manifest.  DTSC is still working to compile/work the kinks out of the 2006 data.  Per Ann Carberry (5/2/07) – DTSC does expect to have usable 2006 data, but it is still not available.  2007 data may be ready by 4/1/08 but to be cautious, giving a few extra months (till summer) might be prudent.  She also noted that Bill Ryan currently runs the group that is responsible for manifest data. 

Strawman recommendation:  In 7/08, ABAG staff should request the revised 2005, 2006 and 2007 data.  ABAG staff should attempt to meld this data with previous years & run the Fair Share Formula on the 207 data.

 2.                  Green Chemistry Fact Sheet – Goals –

a.       provide feedback so ABAG staff can complete.  In specific, discuss recommendations….

b.      peruse mock website and discuss whether posting fact sheet on website is a good idea

 3.                  Haz Waste Project 2007/08 – Goal

a.       Agree on recommendation(s) to Committee for ABAG staff work in upcoming FY
