Policies for the Bay Area's Implementation of Senate Bill 375 (pdf, 3.7  MB)

Staffs of the JPC member agencies have proposed a set of policies to guide the process by which the Bay Area will prepare a Sustainable Communities Strategy and respond to the other requirements of SB 375.  The JPC is asked to adopt the policies and recommend adoption to the governing bodies of ABAG, BAAQMD, BCDC and MTC.

 

Regional Agency Climate Priorities for 2009-10  (pdf,  245 KB)

The JPC is requested to adopt a set of priorities for the 2009-10 regional agencies climate protection program.

Shortly after its formation, the JPC invited the Secretary of BTH to appoint a non-voting member to the Committee.  The Secretary, Mr. Bonner, has appointed Jim Bourgart as his delegate.

The JPC may take action on any item listed in the agenda.

This meeting is scheduled to end promptly at 12:00 Noon.  Agenda items not considered by that time may be deferred.

The public is encouraged to comment on agenda items by completing a request-to-speak card and giving it to JPC staff or the chairperson.

Although a quorum of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission may be in attendance at this meeting, the Joint Policy Committee may take action only on those matters delegated to it.  The Joint Policy Committee may not take any action as the Metropolitan Transportation Commission unless this meeting has been previously noticed as a Metropolitan Transportation Commission meeting.
