Call to Order

Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and pricing policy (pdf, 4.6 MB)

Staff will report on progress since the last JPC meeting in July.  An equity target is proposed to complement the other targets already considered by the JPC.  MTC Executive Director, Steve Heminger, will lead a discussion of transportation-pricing-policy options which could be included in the next RTP.

 

FOCUS: Priority Development Area (PDA) Designations (pdf, 135 KB)

Staff will present a complete list of PDA applications with provisional "planned" and "potential" designations.  The JPC is asked to endorse this list for presentation at the October ABAG/MTC forum and adoption by the ABAG Executive Board in November, and to approve a process for moving moving areas from the "potential" to the "planned" category.

 

FOCUS: Priority Conservation Area (PCA) Nominations (pdf, 28 KB)

Over 100 applications for PCA designation have been received. A list of nominations is provided for the JPC's information.

The JPC may take action on any item listed in the agenda.

This meeting is scheduled to end promptly at 12:00 Noon.  Agenda items not considered by that time may be deferred.

The public is encouraged to comment on agenda items by completing a request-to-speak card and giving it to JPC staff or the chairperson.

Although a quorum of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission may be in attendance at this meeting, the Joint Policy Committee may take action only on those matters delegated to it.  The Joint Policy Committee may not take any action as the Metropolitan Transportation Commission unless this meeting has been previously noticed as a Metropolitan Transportation Commission meeting.
