WHAT DATA ARE INCLUDED AND IN WHAT FORMAT?

Data are provided either as printouts (one zip code per page as in this sample printout) or in MS Excel format. You may wish to refer to the glossary for definitions of the variables you'll find in the Excel file. We suggest that you print the glossary or save it to your hard drive for future reference.

As you will see in the sample printout, data reports:

• Jobs (six industry sectors);
• Population (four categories);
• Income (mean household in 2005 dollars);
• Land Use Data (residential and commercial/industrial available and developed); and
• Population by Age (five age ranges).

Data are available from 2000 to 2035 in five-year increments for nearly all of these categories, providing users with detailed projections for a variety of needs.

Projections 2007 by Zip Code may be ordered for the entire Bay Area or individually.
