Implementation Programs

During the Smart Growth Visioning Process, workshop participants produced a Vision for how the Bay Area can grow over the next 20 years. This Vision (available in our Final Report) reflects the wishes of the workshop participants to create a more livable, sustainable future for the Bay Area. Project staff have developed a number of implementation programs toward this end, and are currently moving these projects forward and identifying new ones. As of now, major project implementation programs include techncial sessions, the Interjurisdictional Corridor Program, and an ongoing effort to acquire incentives, regulatory changes and legislation that will facilitate smart growth implementation.
