Almost every infill site requires site assessment and planning before redevelopment can occur. In this webinar, the Center for Creative Land Re-use (CCLR) highlights two funding opportunities that can help implement local housing elements by making opportunity sites viable:
- The state’s Equitable Community Revitalization Grants, providing up to $7 million per grant for site assessments, area and site planning, and environmental cleanup
- The EPA Brownfields Program, providing up to $2 million per grant for site assessment and planning, environmental cleanup and revolving loan funds
